Introducing India Home’s
Smart Food Pantry
India Home is excited to introduce the Smart Food Pantry- a new food pantry initiative designed to provide food-insecure individuals with more flexible, convenient, and dignified access to healthy groceries.
Located at Jamaica Market in Queens, the Smart Food Pantry combines community-centered care with modern pantry technology to create a simpler and more organized grocery access experience for individuals. The pantry will offer fresh fruits and vegetables, grains and pulses, nuts and spices, refrigerated essentials such as milk and eggs, and culturally familiar grocery items tailored to the communities we serve.

Designed to reduce long waiting lines and improve pantry accessibility, the Smart Food Pantry will allow enrolled participants to access groceries through a structured self-service pantry environment supported by QR-based entry and smart inventory technology.
India Home staff will continue to provide support and assistance throughout pantry operations, and all participants will receive orientation and guidance before access begins. This initiative is designed to improve convenience, flexibility, and choice while maintaining the welcoming and community-focused environment that India Home is known for.

Additional information regarding participant enrollment, orientation sessions, and launch timelines will be announced soon.
