INDIAHOME SENIORS CELEBRATE EACH OTHERS BIRTHDAYS

When was it last, that you were truly excited about your forthcoming birthday? Was it at age 5, or at age 13 when you were officially a teenager, or may be when you were a dreamy sweet sixteen? For thereafter, you perhaps got caught in the whirl of college and then of your new family. But now, that your responsibilities are truly over, and you have done your duty towards your children, isn't it time to capture that magic once again, and make your birthday a true celebration of life, for you have lived it to the full.

That is just what our seniors are up to. Each month, they get together in one of the volunteering member's houses, to celebrate lives of those whose birthday falls in that month, complete with cake and candles and drinks and snacks, and with a thousand wishes for 50,000 returns of the day (tum jeeyo hazaaron saal saal ke gino pachaas hazaar). Their laughter and hilarity is delicious and infectious. And I can only wish them many many more returns of the celebrations.

May be we can add one more feature to it. Won't it be great to have the birthday seniors talk a little bit about the highlights of their life, their aspirations their fulfilments, and their wish list, like a sort of bucket list and let's see what Indiahome can do to help them realize that.
